Selected works on the thematic focus of sound art at the artspring festival 2025 at the Theater unterm Dach in Berlin

The exhibition is curated by Xenia Helms and Jan Gottschalk.

As part of the first sound art programme within the artspring berlin festival, schallern presents visual artistic works that are inspired by sound and have a recognisable connection to hearing, listening, tone, music and noise. Erdmute Blach, Gabriela Vasquez Pacheco & Johannes Schleiermacher, Janis Schroeder, Kaj Osteroth, Marek Brandt, Min Kim and Thomas Möller show very different approaches to the festival theme [ˈapɡəˌfakt] – something is broken here and visualise resounding impressions and auditory situations.
